Wes Brown is heading to set on an upcoming Christmas movie sequel!
The 43-year-old actor, who has starred in numerous Hallmark Channel movies, will be reprising one of his roles once again, and filming is taking place this month.
While speaking with People at a recent luncheon for the upcoming Hallmark+ series The Motherhood, Wes spilled the beans that he can’t celebrate Mother’s Day with his family because he’ll be working.

“Fortunately and unfortunately, but mostly, unfortunately, I won’t be here for Mother’s Day. I’ll be off for work, so I’ll be able to send a nice bouquet of flowers or something,” he said, without confirming which movie he’s filming.
However, he was then asked if there would ever be another sequel to Haul Out the Holly, which he starred with Lacey Chabert in 2022, and he revealed that’s what he’s going to film. This will be third Holly movie, as they did Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up in 2023.
“There is a world. We’re about to go do the third one right now, so that’s what I’ll be missing Mother’s Day for,” he said, adding he “can’t wait” to “get back with that cast and that group of actual characters, literally and figuratively.”
Looks like we could be expecting Haul Out the Holly 3 later this year!
Speaking of Mother’s Day though, Wes will be seen in Hallmark’s Love on the Danube: Love Song, which is part of this year’s “May for Moms” series, in a couple of weeks.
He stars alongside Nazneen Contractor in the 2024 movie, which is currently streaming on Hallmark+!
