Prima Frutta Packing Company has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees or growers who plan to continue their education in college programs. One scholarship is offered each year for full-time study at an accredited four-year institution of the student’s choice.

Scholarship America spoke with Stephanie Ballard of Prima Frutta about the importance of supporting children of employees as they pursue higher education.

Scholarship America: What’s your role at Prima Frutta, and how do you work with the Prima Frutta Scholarship?

Stephanie Ballard: At Prima Frutta Packing, Inc., I play a role in fostering a culture that values education and professional growth. Our scholarship program is an extension of that commitment.
