More Details On Rachel Lindsay’s Spousal Support Payments To Bryan Abasolo

According to Entertainment Tonight, the outlet recently obtained exclusive court documents related to Lindsay and Abasolo’s divorce. The outlet reports that a judge has ordered Lindsay to pay Abasolo “temporary spousal support in the sum of $13,257.00 per month…”

“Respondent is ordered to pay to the Petitioner temporary spousal support in the sum of $13,257.00 per month, payable one-half on the first and one-half on the fifteenth of each month, commencing July 15, 2024, and continuing in a like manner until further order of the Court,” the decision reportedly states.

The $13,257 figure is reportedly a couple of thousand dollars higher than the $9,000 Lindsay initially offered her soon-to-be ex-husband. However, it’s also a few thousand dollars lower than the $16,000 Abasolo reportedly requested.

The Former ‘Bachelorette’ Will Also Send THIS To Abasolo’s Pockets

According to the outlet, Lindsay’s payments to her estranged husband don’t only include the temporary spousal support. Additionally, she has also been ordered to pay Abasolo $15,000 for his divorce legal fees and $5,000 for “forensic expert expenses.”

US Weekly notes that both payments from Lindsay to Abasolo must be satisfied “within the next 60 days.”

Furthermore, the outlet adds that a decision still needs to be made on whether “Lindsay will need to make retroactive spousal support payments.” According to FKKB Law, retroactive spousal support payments are “owed funds that accrued before a judge issued a temporary support order.”

Entertainment Tonight reports that the former couple’s next court date is September 23.

A Brief Recap Of Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo’s Divorce Thus Far

As The Shade Room previously reported, in January, Abasolo filed for divorce from Lindsay after four years of marriage. At the time, he listed the cause of their split as irreconcilable differences.

In May, Abasolo requested emergency spousal support from Lindsay, per The Shade Room. Additionally, this was when Abasolo initially requested Lindsay satisfy over $75,000 of his legal fees.

Later that month, Lindsay reportedly asked the judge to deny Abasolo’s requests, per The Shade Room.

Lindsay’s requests now appear to have been unsuccessful. However, the former ‘Bachelorette’ did previously share some words of advice for others.

“The reason I didn’t [get a prenup] is because the place I’m in now financially… is totally different than when I got married… We weren’t on the same page with prenups, and I didn’t want it to be a bigger issue,” she explained while recently appearing on the ‘Hidden Gems With Natasha Parker‘ podcast. “So we didn’t have one. Hindsight is 20/20, I would have done it [now].”

Ultimately, Lindsay explained that “everybody should have a prenup.”

“Everybody should have a prenup,” she said. “I could have never predicted that in 2024 that I would be getting a divorce. You just never know what life is gonna throw at you or what’s going to happen.”
