Don’t fret, Olivia Wilde is retaining her cool.
The Booksmart director shared her response after turning as much as the 2023 Met Gala on Could 1 in a gown that matched one worn by fellow visitor Margaret Zhang.
“Nice minds,” Olivia wrote on her Instagram Story Could 2 alongside a side-by-side picture of the pair of their Karl Lagerfeld-inspired robes. “Should you’re gonna twin with anybody, make it @margaretzhang.” The Vogue China editor reposted the optimistic message and added, “CUE THE STRINGS.”
Each stars wore cutout attire with a gold violin motif, which have been impressed by one of many late designer’s 1983 items to suit with the Met Gala theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Magnificence.”
Olivia rocked a white model of the robe by Chloé designer Gabriela Hearst, whereas Margaret opted for a black iteration of the look on the pink carpet.
Chloé reimagined Karl’s design with a cape, embroidery and golden beads to type a “trompe l’oeil” or optical phantasm picture of a violin.
