Chaeyoung is providing an apology.
The South Korean rapper, who’s a member of the woman group TWICE, issued a message after she posted a photograph sporting a T-shirt with a swastika graphic on it in a since-deleted Instagram submit.
“Good day, that is Chaeyoung from TWICE. I sincerely apologize relating to the Instagram submit,” the 23-year-old wrote in an announcement shared to Instagram March 21. “I did not accurately acknowledge the which means of the tilted swastika within the t-shirt I wore. I deeply apologize for not completely reviewing it, inflicting concern.”
Chaeyoung continued by saying she is going to make completely different selections transferring ahead.
“I’ll pay absolute consideration sooner or later to stop any scenario related from taking place once more,” she wrote. “Sincerely apologize once more.”
Chaeyoung’s T-shirt within the since-deleted photograph featured a picture from the ’70s of Intercourse Pistols‘ Sid Vicious sporting a prime with a swastika on it, per Billboard.
The woman group TWICE, which options Chaeyoung, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun and Tzuyu, was shaped in 2015 on the truth present Sixteen created by JYP Leisure and Mnet.
