The majority whip in the national assembly stated that the two would sire cute children if they happened to marry each other since Toto is dark while Salasya is brown.
“Hii ndoa ikuwe normal. Hii ndoa ndio tumeshikanisha. Wewe ndio bwana, wewe ndio bibi. Sasa wewe ingia hapa kabisa muzae watoto. Unajua huyu ni mweusi wewe ni mweupe mtoto akuwe muhindi. Maisha ni namna hiyo. (This marriage should be normal. We have approved this mariage. You (Salsaya) are the husband and you are the wife (Toto). So get into this marriage and sire children. You know this one is dark and this one is brow so your baby would be like an Asian. That is life),” Osoro said.

Over 30k women interested in Salasya
Separately, Salasya disclosed thousands of women had sent their applications to have him marry him.
The politician, in a video with Kakamega Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda, delightedly jumped after he was told over 30,000 women had sent proposals.
In the viral video, the politician is seen with Mhanda jogging on a tartan track, clad in sports gear, as he is told of the progress from his ‘wife hunting’ committee.
Muhanda claimed she had formed a committee to help Salasya in vetting women who showed interest in saying “I do” to the first-time MP.
“All applications must go through her and the committee is working tirelessly,” he said.
